Program Coordinator at Music School

Founded in 2012 by Rachel and Adam Atkins, two passionate musicians, Anthem Tuition is all about creating opportunities for children to shine as confident musicians and performers.

**Fixed working days and hours are**:
**Monday (3-7pm) Tuesday (3-7pm) Thursday (3-7pm) Friday (3-7pm) Saturday (8:30am-12:30pm)**

**Locations**:
Days split between our 3 schools: AMS Monton (M30 9PN), AMS Media City (M50 2XH) and AMS Urmston (M41 9PT).

**Main tasks**:

- Using software such as Guitar Pro/Logic/Sibelius to write out music for our students to learn
- Using software such as Canva/Photoshop to display the music in an exciting engaging way for younger learners
- Helping to organise and plan showcase concerts for our students
- Booking musicians and extra staff to work at the events, workshops and teacher rehearsals
- Using software such as Logic/Cubase to arrange songs into shorter versions and liaise with singing teachers to select keys appropriate for students vocal range
- Liaising with our music teachers and heads of music to promote the showcases and build student engagement. Developing ways to encourage more High School students to participate in events
- Making show programs for events
- Covering small group lessons when teachers cancel last minute (ideally on guitar and drums)
- Supporting with general admin for the school where needed
- Helping to arrange cover where needed
- Printing certificates for events and quarterly assessments
- Organising equipment/hiring equipment to be used in shows
- Updating our courses on Wix (website software)
- Using Ticket Source to list tickets for events
- Using Wix to display the tickets to our students
- Helping with school promotional assemblies - booking the band, arranging the set list, liaising with the school
- Developing curriculum we use in the classes at the music school - Looking at resources we already have available, branding them, communicating them to the team, arranging for printing and then stocking the music schools
- Maintaining equipment levels and ordering replacement equipment when needed at our locations in Manchester
- Assisting as band workshops during concert preparation seasons (Summer and Christmas)
- Organising the delivery of courses on offer at AMS

**Required Qualities**:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- IT competency
- Driving license and car is essential
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills, ready to solve problems and build great relationships
- Excellent forward planning, being proactive and pre-empting problems

**A musical background is essential for this role.**

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £7.50-£15.00 per hour
