**About our client**
Our client is a PE entrepreneur who has recently had an eight-figure realisation to be actively invested and grown adventurously, as part of an ambitious Family Office style investment business.
The entrepreneur is currently looking for a stand out individual, to fill the role of Investment / Portfolio Manager, on either a part-time, or possibly full-time basis, with a brief to maximise the value of the realisation.

**The Role**
As an Investment / Portfolio Manager, you will maximise the value of the newly created eight figure fund.
Specifically, you will develop an investment strategy that maximises returns and minimises risk exposure.
Conducting research on public-and sometimes private-companies, you will analyse, evaluate and recommend investment opportunities including traditional long positions and alternative assets that align to our investment strategy and objectives. You will havefamiliarity with research data, such as from Refinitiv, Yahoo Finance, etc.
You will analyse and recommend optimal hedging and strategies to protect against market falls.
**About You**
To be considered for the Investment / Portfolio Manager role, you will need:

- Previous experience in either investment or portfolio management
- Experience of conducting Public-and Private-Company research and analysis
- Knowledge and interest in the financial markets
- A keen awareness of long investments i.e. stocks
- Good knowledge of alternative assets
- Some knowledge of hedging products / strategies
