**About the Role**
Web Results Direct is a Digital Marketing Consultancy with a strong focus on Search. We are a Google Partner Agency, established in 2001 with a loyal and growing client base of household names, SMBs and Enterprise sized clients.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working and motivated individual to join our growing PPC team as an Account Executive. The individual will be proactive with both a practical and creative mindset which is important in the world of PPC. They will also need to have a keen thirst to learn to develop and grow within the expanding team.
**Experience**
You will have at least one year of proven PPC experience in either an agency or client-side role. This needs to include at a minimum, setting up or managing basic Search campaigns in Google Ads. Knowledge or experience in other campaigns or platforms such as Google Display/Remarketing, Microsoft/Bing Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter etc would be advantageous but is not essential.
Ideally you should have taken Google Ads certification exams and at a minimum be Search Certified. Experience or some knowledge of tools such as Google Ads Editor, Google Analytics and Google Looker would be highly advantageous. Some knowledge in website tracking through tools such as Google Tag Manager is desirable but not essential as training can be provided.
Strong communication skills are required for client interactions. Also important is an approachable personality both when working with the team internally and in dealings/comms with clients or external partners. An Analytical nature is needed to delve into and understand the huge wealth of data available when running and optimising PPC campaigns. As well as this, a Creative element is important and will be useful in areas such as writing enticing Ad Copy, Landing page review/optimisation, Planning new campaigns and more.
A good standard of Maths and English is required, and you will be familiar with MS Office products, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.
**Role** **Progression**
Within our growing business, this role presents a fantastic opportunity to learn and develop, with progression to Account Manager, Senior Account Manager and beyond for the right person.
You will be supported by our experienced team and guidance will be provided to help you to further hone and develop your skills.
**Responsibilities**
You will become a part of a team with a desire to grow substantially in the coming months and years. You will be assisting our account management and senior team to manage some of our bigger clients, as well as taking ownership of a collection of your own clients, with guidance provided where required.
Upon taking ownership of your own clients and with the support of the senior team, you will be expected to manage, optimise and review performance, with the aim of continually improving key metrics of the campaigns. As well as this you will need to provide concise reporting and, with the assistance of the senior, team handle any communications with your clients, including phone calls.
You will be using a variety of tools and platforms on a day to day basis. Some of the main tools/platforms will include Google Ads, Google Ads Editor, Google Looker Studio and Google Analytics (GA4). With training and guidance, you will become confident in all aspects of using these tools as well as gaining a good understanding on other tools that will be required in your day to day role.
You will develop good personal relationships with our internal departmental teams but above all with our clients. You will need to understand their business and objectives fully, becoming confident in talking and guiding them through the results of their current campaigns as well as suggesting viable new opportunities for clients to expand and grow their online advertising in line with their business objectives.

Working hours are Monday to Thursday 9.30 am to 5.30 pm and Friday 9.30 am to 5.00 pm, with 25 days paid holiday a year plus Bank Holidays and extra time off over Christmas.

You will need to live within commuting distance of our offices near Godalming (ideally less than 40 minutes' drive away), you will also need a full driving license and your own car as we are in a rural location.
This is a full-time role, however, we may be able to offer some flexibility when it comes to working hours.
You will be expected to be mostly office based during your initial probation period, however, we offer a degree of homeworking once probation has been successfully passed.
