We have an exciting opportunity to work as a Support Worker (female only), as part of a small team supporting our three ladies with learning disabilities, in their own home in a village on the outskirts of Brough.

The duties of a support worker will include providing daily support and care in order to assist and encourage our ladies to engage with all of their community-based activities and daily living requirements. This includes a wide variety of activities such as supporting them with personal care, cooking, shopping, taking and collecting from day services, supporting to the gym, swimming, attending social clubs, cinema and theatre - the list is endless, so no day is the same.

We encourage our ladies to make safe informed choices and to widen their experience and live full and rewarding lives.

The role will be for 92 hours over a 4-week period and consists of shift work and includes weekend and bank holidays. Weekend work is paid with an enhancement of £1 an hour.

Experience of learning disabilities would be desirable but not essential as full training and supervision will be given.

**Driver Essential: Due to the individual needs of the service, a valid driver’s licence is essential for this role.**
