Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our team. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our culinary operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of the kitchen. **Responsibilities**:

- Assist with food preparation and cooking under the guidance of the kitchen staff
- Help with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
- Assist in receiving and storing food supplies
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient workflow
- Support catering operations as needed

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods is a plus
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week

- Chef: 1 year (preferred)
- Catering: 1 year (preferred)
- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
