If that sounds like something you want to be involved in, we’d love to have you on board - and we’ll give you all the training and development you need to get to where you want to go- Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire operates 303 vehicles over 5 sites and our KENDAL team are looking for people from a background in vehicle mechanical / electrical engineering to be part of our growing team. You may be in a truck / HGV, rail, light commercial or automotive setting at the moment, but fancy a change of vehicle to enhance your skill-set.- Likewise, if you’ve got PCV experience, you’ll still find new opportunities to learn given the variety of our fleet.- Our KENDAL depot operates a varied range of vehicles from minibuses and Double Deckers on a daily basis ,we operate Alexander Dennis, Volvo and Optare vehicles including modern Open Top vehicles.- You’ve probably seen some of our 30 vehicles driving around KENDAL and surrounding area, transporting our fantastic customers across the Cumbria & North Lancashire every year.- Those customers rely on our services to get them to work, to the high street, to hospitals, to days away and nights out - and as part of our engineering team you’ll be a key part in making sure our vehicles are in tip top condition to do just that. It’s a really important role within our depot, so we’ll make sure you’re as looked after as our vehicles are- Don’t worry if you’ve not worked on these vehicles before (or indeed buses) - we’ll train you on everything you need to know, and you’ll be supported by a great team of fellow Electricians, Mechanics, Technicians and Engineering Managers who all pull together to do a brilliant job.- And interestingly it’s not all depot-based work - you could well find yourself out and about dealing with vehicle issues on the road, so it won’t always be the same four walls you’re looking at- Aside from the reward of helping to deliver an incredible experience to our customers, there’s plenty more we can offer:
