Position: Welding Supervisor
Location: Renfrew, Glasgow
Rate: £25ph Mon to Fri
Duration: Long Term
Start Date: ASAP

JOB SUMMARY

The key responsibilities of the role would primarily be:

- Ensure all teams working on welding and fabrication projects, regardless of location, are operating safely and to a high standard.
- Complete site meetings to agree scope of works and ‘best practice’ for working on site.
- Contribute to design and installation of all projects.
- Motivate the team towards collective goals.
- Ability to read and interpret Engineering and fabrication drawings.
- Design and implement team training programmes.
- Effective management of resource including holidays
- Develop team members to allow for career progression within team.
- Effective decision-making considering impact on overall business, project, and team members.
- Welding and fabrication as required in workshop and site.
- Extensive knowledge of oil and gas/marine and structural welding/fabrication works and standards.
- At least 5 years relevant experience
- Excellent welding experience in all processes and materials
- NC/HNC in Welding/Fabrication
