Industrial Painter

Our client are looking for an Industrial painter to work in their busy ship yard in Pembroke dock. Monday to Friday work with opptional weekends. Start times between 06:00 - 08:00. Possible ongoing position for the right person.

**Main duties include**:

- Performing ultra high pressure wash, grit blasting and other surface preparation on tanks, ship, interior and exterior surface areas.
- Individually, and as part of a team surface prep of ship hull and tanks to prepare steel surfaces for painting.
- Experienced in use of ultra high pressure equipment / painting
- Experience of working within the marine and/or boat building industry is preferably but not essential
- Experience of working on large scale, steel surfaces is essential
- Strong working knowledge of the importance of health and safety in the workplace
- Be able to plan work and work effectively as part of a team
- Confined Space Trained

- Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
- 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
