**The Raise Academy is a brand-new school opening in September 2024. The school will specialise in supporting pupils aged 11-16.**

This is a fantastic opportunity at our brand new SEMH school in Widnes to shape the school and transform the lives of children and those who look after them.

This role carries with it a manageable teaching commitment.
- Support effective teaching and learning throughout the academy and monitor and evaluate the individual progress made, effectively using benchmarks to track and set targets for improvements.
- Support and maintain an environment and a code of behaviour and discipline which promotes and secures good teaching, effective learning, and high standards of achievement.
- Support and maintain the mental health and wellbeing of the students which promotes and secures good teaching, effective learning and high standards of achievement.
- Help organise the curriculum and its assessment, working with the leadership team to monitor and evaluate it, in order to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure that literacy and numeracy progression is prioritised and targeted across the whole school consistently.
- Deliver and support the PSHE and RSE programmes across the school.
