We are actively recruitment for a Head Housekeeper to join our Team at our 113-bedroom hotel at Ainley Top in Huddersfield.

The Head Housekeeper is the standard bearer of the business, ensuring that our high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are experienced by all of our guests.

The Head Housekeeper will be leader of our inhouse team of room attendants and support team, and a key member of the Hotel management team.

Your duties will include:

- Management and leadership of the Housekeeping team, including employee engagement, recruitment, training and development, and performance management
- Leading from the front in terms of daily cleaning of the bedrooms, bathrooms and public areas of the hotel
- Managing the housekeeping rota
- Ensuring appropriate linen stocks, liaising with suppliers and external contacts
- Reporting all maintenance issues in line with company policies
- Being part of the forward-looking Hotel management team of the Hotel
- Lead by example, recognising when to 'manage' and when to 'lead'
- Be confident and self-motivated
- Have a similar background in working to brand standards
- Familiar with working in a fast-paced busy environment

Pay: £28,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
