Head of Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety

Department: QESH Reporting To: Group Managing Director

**Responsibilities**:
1. To provide leadership for Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety management for the Ardent Group.
2. Ensure compliance with relevant HSE legislation.
3. Advise the Senior Management team on all QESH matters and help drive business initiatives that result in meeting organisational targets and customer satisfaction. Principal

**Responsibilities**:
1. - Ensure all Quality, Environmental, Health &Safety management systems are current, adequate, and that all requirements are met in full - ISO 14001, 45001, 9001:2015, and 50001 accreditation.
2. - Ensuring the business is legally compliant to health and safety legislation
3. - Implementation of the QESH strategy and management of the function on a daily basis 4. - Driving continual improvement of a safe behaviour culture
5. - Lead the Non-Conforming Report (NCR) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) processes, ensuring year on year improvements, and full engagement of all contributing areas. 6. - Responsible for internal auditing procedures and the follow-up and resolution of all non-conforming actions.
7. - Establish and maintain an effective system for identifying and reporting accidents, incidents and other noncompliance and implementation of corrective actions resulting from investigations to ensure organisational learning is achieved.
8. - Provide appropriate reporting to the board on all relevant QESH topics
9. - Own the QESH department plan 10. - Ensure external certification audits are planned and supported.
11. - To support the development and management of the QESH budget, providing meaningful analysis and data
12. - To be a member of the Senior Leadership Team and to be proactive in developing the work of that team in supporting and executing the strategy agree by the Board.
13. - All other duties as relevant to the post
14 - Attract, develop, and retain a high performing team to meet the current and evolving needs of the business through effective selection, training and development, mentoring and performance management.

KPIs which will be required.

1. LTI, and other safety matrix
2. NCR and warranty performance (frequency & Cost)
3. RCA effective closure
4. Audit action closure.
5. Others to be defined.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £60,000.00-£75,000.00 per year
