Finance Apprentice

The Finance department at Titan Airways has recently gone through a process of growth and development and, as a result, we require a Finance Apprentice to join our close-knit team at our head office at London Stansted Airport.

**The main duties and responsibilities of the role are**:

- Sales ledger tasks, including collecting and copying flight briefs and aircraft technical logs
- Assisting the purchase ledger function including posting and scanning of invoices and processing statements
- Entering aircraft technical log information into the Flight Database
- Assisting with purchase orders and fuel invoices
- Department administrative tasks including collecting and delivering the post, filing and stationery ordering
- Additional tasks and functions as requested by Chief Financial Officer and Financial Controller

**The following requirements are essential for this role**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multi-task and be self-motivated to prioritise tasks confidently in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Quick to learn, with an eagerness to develop within the role and beyond. Support will be provided through a recognised AAT apprenticeship scheme
- Ability to attend a Level 2 (or Level 3 if previous level completed) study programme at First Intuition, Chelmsford (one day per week during term time)
- Flexible, good team-working skills with a degree of independence when required

**Additional, desirable qualities**:

- Basic working knowledge of Excel
- GCSE Maths & English Grade 4 or above (or equivalent)

This is a salaried, permanent position working Monday to Friday 0900-1730; this includes the time spent attending the Level 2 (or 3) course during term time (days and times to be confirmed). A travel allowance to college will be provided along with first time exam costs and AST membership fees.
