We are a charity and our reach and impact has grown significantly over the last few years as we’ve developed new models and services for supporting the communities of our county. We’ve got an army of volunteers, both laypeople and healthcare professionals, and a small employed team of both administrative and clinical people. We’re currently based in Horncastle but we operate right across the county of Lincolnshire, including the North and North East.

Job Title: Logistics Administrator

Location: LIVES HQ, Units 5 - 8 Birch Court, Spratt Close, Boston Road Industrial Estate, Horncastle LN9 6SB

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week

Responsible to: Operations Manager

Responsive to: Operations Manager, LIVES Leadership Team, customers, volunteers and all HQ and clinical teams

**Job description**

This role works as part of the LIVES HQ team ensuring the efficient delivery of logistics and facilities management. You will be responsible for maintaining stock levels; the receipt and issues of clinical consumables ensuring stock is rotated and managed minimising waste and spend. You will be responsible for managing the medical equipment within the organisation, ensuring all servicing and maintenance schedules are met. This role is key to the delivery of all LIVES activities, the role forms part of a wider team providing a 7-day services across operations and the wider organisation.

**Main duties & responsibilities**
- Independent working
- Fleet management
- Supporting LIVES HQ and remote facilities
- Supporting the preparation of education kits and consumables
- Inter departmental logístical support to community engagements
- Routine management of logistics in line with organisational guidelines
- Source non-stock products as required by the charity
- Inventory management utilising stock control software
- Manage requisitions including non-stock, raise and generate purchase orders
- Expedite orders and escalate stock concerns in a timely manner
- Undertake cyclical and annual stock takes/reconciliation
- Maintain asset records and manage maintenance/calibration cycles for equipment
- Undertake minor building maintenance and support as required; organise contractors or specialists when needed
- Pre and post logistics support to event management
- Undertake regular lifting of boxes, equipment and other objects

**Key skills**
- Experienced in stock control and stock management
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Proficient in office 365, excel and outlook
- Highly organised with keen attention to detail
- An efficient communicator with the ability to establish professional relationships within the supply chain and the wider organisation
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills

**Person specification**
- **Essential**_
- Be flexible and willing to operate from all LIVES bases throughout Lincolnshire (currently Lincoln and Horncastle).
- IT literate with a solid foundation in Microsoft office 365 is important. Any experience in stock/asset management software would be desirable.
- Be able to use your initiative, work independently with mínimal supervision in order to prioritise tasks, manage workload and maximise output.
- Must hold a full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Must have a standard DBS certificate relevant to the role.

- Have previous experience in logistics and or customer service.
- Have an understanding of the Caldicott principles and the importance of managing sensitive and or confidential information.
- Hold a logistics or facilities management qualification.
