A key feature of the post is flexibility and a willingness to work as part of a multi-disciplined team under the direction of the Headteacher and the Business Manager.

You will be required to:

- Ensure facilities are maintained to the highest possible standard;
- Supervise a team of cleaning staff;
- Be a reliable, organised and conscientious worker, who will take pride in the appearance of the school.

Duties will include daily, weekly and monthly statutory checks (fire alarm, legionella, emergency lighting etc.) painting and decoration, plumbing, minor repairs and other maintenance tasks including cleaning of the school and upkeep of the school grounds. Good initiative and organisational skills are essential.

Benefits include: 31 days holiday per year plus bank holidays (to be taken during school closure periods)
