**As a care assistant you can expect**:

- Flexible working hours and shift patterns
- Guaranteed Full time hours *
- Competitive hourly wage (£12.00 Monday - Friday, £12.00 -Saturday am, lunch and tea and £14.00 Saturday BTB and Sunday and £11.50 for sitting services. up to £14.50 for emergency over and bank holidays.)
- Higher rate of pay for Easter Monday and 12th July
- **Paid mileage** - increased to 35p per mile

**Key Requirements**
- Have 2 suitable references
- Be caring and friendly
- Have a valid driving licence and vehicle
- Be eligible to work in the UK
- Have a good standard of verbal and written English (or be prepared to further their English skills)

- Assisting and enabling
- Washing and dressing
- Taking food and refreshment
- Mobility
- Bed making
- Providing interest and activities to stimulate and engage the client
- Companionship and care
- Administering medication
- Contributing to record keeping
