**Apprentice Rural Surveyor**:
We are looking to recruit a new Degree Apprentice to join our Rural Division. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start their career in Property, in a varied and interesting role requiring strong organisational skills to provide property services on a wide range of rural and other property types. We are looking to appoint an Apprentice Surveyor to join our vibrant team in Kendal. Ultimately, this provides the opportunity to become a Chartered Surveyor after 5 years.

This will be a varied and interesting role providing high quality training opportunities and delivering key support to the wider team who carry out rural estate and property management, valuation, sales and infrastructure work for charities as well as institutional and private clients.

**MAIN TASKS**:

- Support the Partners in the management of rural estates and property
- Property valuations
- Develop and manage relationships with clients
- Attending client meetings
- Prepare client communications and reports
- Basic Payment and Environmental Scheme Applications
- All other aspects of rural surveying
- Report writing
- Site inspections and Records of Condition
- Negotiation and engagement with stakeholders
- Compulsory purchase and compensation
