Product Technologist

Job Introduction
Come and join us We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Product Technologist (Raw Materials and Product Test) to join our team in Thetford.

- The hours of work and shift patterns are**:08.00 - 16.00 OR 09.00 - 17.00**:

- The rate of pay is**:£13.50 per hour**

Main Responsibilities
- To update and maintain integrity / allergen risk assessments - for ingredient and product.
- Co-ordination of external product testing / reporting / escalation
- micro, nutritional’s, gluten.
- Work with Hygiene Team to agree actions to improve micro swab trends.
- Provision of data to support daily, weekly and monthly KPI reporting requirements.
- External certifications maintenance e.g. red tractor, AOECS
- Due diligence responses
- Cover / support for Product Technologist (Product Launch)
- To carry out ad hoc projects/investigations as required.
- Some out of hours phone support may be required.
- Manufacturing / FMCG environment experience
- Specification’s experience
- Raw materials / supplier management
- Advanced Excel, Word, database user
- Knowledge of quality contracts
- Knowledge of nutritionals / Micro
