**Safer Highways Data Processer (Maternity Leave)**

**Working Pattern: 37 hrs per week - Hybrid**

**Location: West Bridgford, Nottingham NG2**

**Contract: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract**

Via is currently looking for a Safer Highways Data Processer (Maternity Cover) to join our Safer Highways Team based at our West Bridgford Office, in Nottingham.

You will produce relevant data sets, using them to highlight and deliver on opportunities for continual improvement in casualty reduction and road safety across Nottinghamshire.

**The Job**

Key areas of responsibility will include:
- Carry out the reporting of road traffic accident data for Partners, including the Police, City Council, County Council, Highways England, Fire and Rescue and the Department for Transport.
- Ensure Via’s contractual obligations in relation to the provision of accurate and timely data are consistently met.
- Proactively control the quality of the data produced, to provide confidence to key Partners and stakeholders in the accuracy of the information.
- Liaise with people across Partner organisations, to support operational teams with the development, compilation and analysis of relevant data to help drive improvements.

**The Person **

Mainly you will be excited to be a vital part of our Safer Highways team, but there are just a few other things we’d like from you:
- Valid driving licence and extensive experience of driving on the UK road network.

Experience of working with data.
- Ability to interpret and communicate complex data sets to a wide range of audiences.
- IT skills with demonstrable experience of working across a range of systems and software.
