**About The Role**:
This is an entry-level role, ideally suited to school or college leaver and requires no previous experience. The post holder will receive training and development in all aspects of the job

The purpose of the role is to assist the Technical Manager(s) in the day-to-day management of the design consultants (Architects, Structural & Civil Engineers, Energy Consultants and Landscape Architects, etc) together with attending relevant design/site meetings ensuring that technical information produced to build our developments is clear, concise and accurate in all aspects. The role also requires visits to the construction site to understand how decisions made at design stage are interpreted and carried-out by the site teams. Liaison with statutory utility providers and regulatory authorities is also part of this exciting and rewarding role.

**Key Responsibilities & Duties to be expected after training**
- Help to manage design consultants, monitoring progress of the design process against a programme and schedule of deliverables
- Attend design team meetings
- Ensure designs meet CALA’s requirements in both aesthetics and costs
- Reviewing of layouts and house types to ensure they meet our purchasers needs
- Get involved in all aspects of the design process from inception to completion
- Offer technical advice and support to all other departments across the business
- Using Microsoft Office, AUTOCAD, and any other such software, as required to carry out the role
- Assist with new land purchases for future developments including site investigations, structural reports, surveys etc
