Mencap Stores are looking for some serious holiday heroes to help us spread some Christmas cheer

We receive wonderful donations to create vital funds to support people with a learning disability to live the life they want to live. As a charity we know this time of year can be difficult and we want to share our love for sustainable fashion and pre-loved items through our charity stores

We are looking for volunteer retail assistants to help us through this holiday rush. So, why choose to support Mencap this Christmas to volunteer?

Volunteer, Castleford

We need volunteers to help us in our mission to meet the demands of the Christmas shoppers and ensure they grab a bargain or two for their Christmas Wish List. Through the power of pre-loved items we can use the money generated this year to support more people with a learning disability through to some worrying economic times. We expect the stores to be busier than ever this year, and we need your help to make sure we can meet the needs of shoppers this festive season.

In your role as a Christmas Retail Assistant, you will receive:

- Elf-Tastic Training and a Volunteer Induction to Sleigh
- Travel expenses to the value of £10
- To be a part of a Santa-class team
