We are recruiting for an Employment Specialist in our Fife IPS project

**The job**

The job is Employment Specialist. It’s a varied, challenging and rewarding role. We

help people, our clients, find the right job then support them to stay in work. Our clients have differing ‘barriers to employment’, and commonly share severe and enduring mental ill health.

We follow the proven IPS framework which helps us to guide our clients on their **Individual **journeys. We support people in 3 general areas; employability, mental wellbeing and making connections. We are flexible and creative in what we do, recognising each client as the unique individual they are, and helping them to focus on the strengths they each have.

Whilst FEAT are a flexible employer, this role is based at Silverburn Park, with some days worked in Fife Community Mental Health Team venues, a mix of meetings in the local community as well as home working. The role allows a degree of autonomy and trust to achieve the best possible results for clients. On successful completion of probation, usually six months, we are happy to discuss other flexible work options.

**Salary band**: £26,750 - £28,437 per annum

**Hours** **35 per week,** but talk to us about other options

**Hybrid role** - based at Silverburn Park, Leven, some travel within Fife

We are looking for **one Employment Specialist**

**About you**

You’ll be a professional bringing relevant knowledge and experience - you’ll already know that work keeps us well, and about the benefits good work brings.

You'll be understanding, compassionate and patient, with the skills to support clients into competitive employment.

You’ll have attention to detail, be a problem-solver and enjoy being part of a small team making a big difference through good work improving mental health.

You will be willing to learn as we’ll teach you about the IPS model, with opportunities for accredited study down the line.

Base Location: FEAT Head Office, Silverburn Park, Leven

**Aims of FEAT &** **FEAT Trading CIC**

To deliver individualised and group employment advice, support, training and assistance to people who have experienced mental health problems or are at risk of developing mental health problems.

To work closely with employers, other agencies and the general public to increase understanding of mental health and create opportunities for people with mental health problems to fully engage in communities.

FEAT’s mission is to enable and support individuals to flourish, to reach their full positive mental well-being in a culture where there is no stigma.

To regenerate Silverburn Park in Leven with a combination of commercial and community activities and donate a percentage of any surpluses into the charity on an annual basis.
