General Operative

Main duties:
- Operating variety of mobile plant such as loading shovels, 360 material handlers, telehandlers, FLT's and MEWPs. You will be operating this equipment to handle non-hazardous waste materials in a safe and efficient manner.
- Daily checks and general tasks on equipment such as lubricating, refuelling and cleaning machinery.
- General cleaning down of plant and equipment.
- Basic maintenance such as clearing bearings, blowing motors out, greasing equipment.
- Additional maintenance as required (i.e. assisting in changing rollers etc.)
- Maintain a clean and tidy work environment.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to think logically
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
- Flexible and adaptable manner
Experience of driving mobile plant an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.
Salary is dependent on experience.

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
