We are still seeking an individual to join our small team who work together in our award winning country Inn near Dunoon in Argyll due to another person accepting a job and then not turning up

Attention to detail is paramount alongside a relaxed, cheerful disposition. As we are a country inn the ambience our staff create should be attentive, professional and efficient whilst being friendly and warm, with of course the now famous Whistlefield welcome

We look after each other and our team has a real family feel. The front of house assistant needs to be competent in all areas: must be able to confidently serve all bar products as usual in an English/Scottish pub, with table service throughout the business. Some shifts will be working alone but with other staff on busier shifts. It is essential that you will be good at self managing during quieter shifts. We all work in all areas of the business. Housekeeping for our 8 ensuite rooms will also be part of the position so physical fitness important and attention to detail in cleaning and housekeeping is required.

During the busy times you would generally work 8-10 hours a day with a break during your shift of at least an hour. You will be paid hourly, we don't expect anyone to work for free We are looking to recruit as soon as possible. Minimum hours will be 30 per week but will increase during busy times
