**Pre Press / Artworker - Packaging & Labels**

**Location**: Aylesbury

**Salary**:DOE

**Company**:A leading packaging and self-adhesive labels company.

**Role**:An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a well-established company, predominately creating print ready artwork, working on food and beverage packaging and/or labels.

**Responsibilities**:

- Preparation/creation of artwork for digital & flexographic label printing production
- Check all artworks supplied and prepare them for printing
- Ensure artwork proofs are accurately created and proofed on time
- Inputting accurate information into a Management Information System
- Liaise with Prepress manager, customer services team and customers to ensure timelines are met
- Work closely with the pre-press manager to plan jobs going into production
- Order plates
- Send jobs to the HP Indigo

**Requirements**:

- Experience producing print ready artwork
- Previous / current experience working within packaging and labels
- Repro experience beneficial
- Knowledge of print processes such as digital, flexographic, hot foiling and screen printing
- Good working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
- Good understanding of colour management software
- Good understanding of HP Indigo DFE - advantageous
- Knowledge of workflow systems - advantageous

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
