Waiter/server

Overview:
Our client is an Italian restaurant in Blackheath, currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Waiter to join their team. As a Waiter, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for guests.

This role offers accommodation on top of starting salary of 1500£/month. If accommodation is not required salary is negotiable.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Provide recommendations on menu items and upsell specials
- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing any concerns or special requests
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen duties as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
- Process payments and handle cash transactions
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth service

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a Server or in the hospitality industry preferred
- Knowledge of basic math skills for handling payments accurately
- Familiarity with food safety guidelines and practices
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Upselling skills to promote additional menu items
