Abatec is looking to appoint a civil engineering Site Agent on a freelance basis with an award-winning, tier 1 contractor, in the Wiltshire area.

Our client is working on a multi-million-pound flood defence scheme and requires a Site Agent with experience working similar projects.

**As Project Manager** **you will**:

- Be responsible for programming/planning works, supporting and monitoring health & safety, and the commercial performance of the project.
- Ensure that all labour, materials, plant, and supply chain resources are recorded accurately.
- Identify and resolve any problems that arise from technical site issues.
- Liaise with specialist subcontractors.
- Report project performance to senior site management.

**Our client requires a Project Manager with**:

- A background in heavy civil engineering and previous water experience.
- A good understating of construction health & safety protocols i.e. Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
- Excellent communication, planning, and organisation skills.
- CSCS, SMSTS, & First Aid at Work

**Salary and benefits include**:

- £375 - £425 PAYE / umbrella
- Abatec Ltd. is working as an employment business on behalf of a client_
