**About Our Client**:
**My client is part of a Not for Profit Housing Association. They are formed to benefit their local community by delivering excellent landlord and support services for affordable living.**

**The key responsibilities of an Accounts Payable Officer will include, but may not be limited to;**
- To process and match all invoices received
- Liaise with supplier on all invoice queries
- Ensure all invoices are processed and paid
- Take payments from customers
- Manage information provision to and from suppliers
- Undertake control duties by ensuring systems are monitored
- Perform regular administrative duties
- Petty cash control handling and monitor spending
- Assist in the month end and year end timetable
- Reconcile supplier statements in a timely manner
- Process weekly BACS payments

**The Successful Applicant**:

- Background working in Not for Profit and Charities OR Housing Association
- GCSE in Mathematics grade C or above
- Background in Accounts Payable, Purchase Ledger, Credit Control
- Able to priorities workload and meet deadlines
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- To work as a team and independently
- To be enthusiastic and action oriented
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good computer skills
- Able to problem solve
- Willingness to challenge negative and resistance to change
- Ability to commute to Oldham
