**Job Title**: Early Years Senior Administrator

**Location**: Fairthorne Manor, Curdridge, SO30 2GH

**Salary**:£28,000 per annum

**Weekly Hours**:37.5 hours per week

**Job Purpose**:
To provide comprehensive administration support to YMCA nurseries and support the early years Finance Business Partner in managing nursery income. The post holder will be based at Fairthorne Manor and will be required to travel to nurseries across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Raising & sending invoices
- Setting up Direct Debits
- Taking payments via credit card, BACS, childcare vouchers, TFC
- Investigating and resolving invoice and funding queries as required in a timely manner
- Carrying out funding claims with applicable council
- Reconciling funding/nursery grants
- Maintaining child records in the nursery management system
- Allocating group income to the correct account
- Supporting nursery managers in recording usage of designated funds
- SME for early years funding
- Posting month-end journals to record early years income
- Maintain regular and frequent communication with all nurseries, including visits
- Be an active team player within the Early years team and within the organisation as a whole
- Store and update documents in the companies file sharing database
- Maintain files including confidential information
- Liaise with external professionals and staff from other services

**Qualifications / Experience**:

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in performing administrative tasks in a busy customer facing role, preferably in a service supporting children and families
- Full UK Driving License - Travel will be expected to meet business needs
