**Base**: The Health Place, BRIGG**

**1 Full time (37.5 hours per week) post to work between North and North East Lincolnshire, based primarily in Brigg/Scunthorpe/Grimsby, with occasional travel to Hull and East Riding screening venues.**

**An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, flexible and motivated person to join the Humber Diabetic Eye Screening Programme as a Retinal Screening Photographer. The successful applicant will work with the retinal screening team and be responsible for providing visual acuity examinations and digital photography during retinal screening clinics.**

**The successful applicant will be given full in house training to ensure they are competent to administer patient eye drops and perform a visual acuity test in preparing the patient for digital photography. The successful applicant will also be given full training to perform digital photography of the patient's retina in a dark environment within an office or mobile unit. Excellent patient management during clinics is essential to ensure a timely screening process.
