Senior Tester

**Senior Tester - CI/CD - circa £55k + Excellent Bens - Horsham**
**Overview**
An excellent opportunity has arisen with a large and exciting Independent Estate Agency in the South East. We are seeking an experienced Senior Tester to join their growing team in Horsham to play a key role in establishing the automated testing functions fortheir move to a CI/CD environment. You will also be responsible for all testing and automated testing of the business requirements for their software solutions at the user and API levels.
**Role and Responsibilities**:

- An integral part of the IT Leadership team reporting direct to the IT Director, you will establish a new IT Testing team and ensure the team's tools, procedures, processes and tasks are carried out efficiently and to a high standard of quality.
- Engage with product managers, business analysts and developers to clarify features and functionality.
- Be involved in functional and non-functional testing, defect tracking and reporting to senior management
- Liaise with support to help identify production issues and known bugs
- Contribute to the Development Team's working practices and technology decisions, including process improvement.
- Create and maintain automated test solutions - Web and API
- Work on specific projects to support the IT Director and wider business
- Mentor and coach staff to maximise individual and team development, growth, competence and succession.
**Essential Skills and Experience**:

- Expertise in capturing and analysing data and documenting Test plans and tracking deliverables using Azure DevOps or similar test management tools
- Postman, SoapUI/ReadyAPI or other API focussed test automation tools
- Performance/load testing experience using LoadUI Pro or other performance testing tools
- A willingness to share knowledge and skills with developers and team; improve the quality of our products through improved testing methods and approaches
- Understanding of or experience of maintaining an API test automation framework including the ability to write/amend automated test cases written in C#. Experience with other object orientated languages is also considered
- Exceptional communication skills and a diplomatic approach to problem-solving
- Confident when working autonomously
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a delivery-focussed and proactive team
- Previous experience of supporting complex, company-wide technology projects
