MAIN OBJECTIVES

Responsible for the timely release and control of all Works Order (WO) Inventory Transactions, printing, completion and close. Liaising with Engineering, Purchasing, Sales, and Manufacturing disciplines (team approach).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Analyses the daily create/release report generated from MRP/ERP system and processes WO create/release/reschedule in a timely manner.- Commits Inventory to released WOs.- Prints all shop packet labels (2D, WO Flow Tag, Kitting and Serial).- Distributes Shop Packets to Manufacturing Cell / Stores.- Monitors WO progress through production and updates sales team with any issues.- Processes WO scrap (Units) and transacts component replacements (cell stock only).- Processes ‘Pick Material’ (cell build only) - Just in Time methodology.- Processes WO completes (create Finished Goods).- MFG close WO, identify and rectify variances before closing.- Develop a thorough working knowledge of Glovia G2 ERP and ScanStar systems.- Bring ideas to management and implements necessary process improvements.- Able and willing to work necessary hours to meet all production deadlines.- Responsibility for adhering to the Company’s ISO 9001 Quality, ISO14001 Environmental and Health and Safety management systems and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE- Proficiency in MS Office including Word and Excel.- Advanced Microsoft analytical skills desired but not essential.- Experience in a high mix/low volume pull-based manufacturing environment.- Capability to respond quickly, decisively, assertively, and professionally to changing requirements in demand.- Ability to organise, schedule, coordinate and set priorities in a manner which ensures maximum performance and goal accomplishment.-
- Ability to work with several projects simultaneously.- Actively communicates and clearly expresses ideas and concerns both verbally and in written format in both positive and negative situations. Actively listens, offers full attention when others speak, gives verbal and nonverbal cues of interest, asks questions for clarification, and paraphrases to ensure understanding.- Completes work in a thorough and complete manner, provides detailed information, and tracks details always.- Takes action to meet the needs of others, responds timely without supervision, and minimises delays.- Maintains composure and remains effective when dealing with frequent job challenges, unexpected disruptions, working with conflicting, delayed, or unclear information.- Collects and researches data, analyses the data and offers recommended solutions.- Able to identify problems, solve them, and show good judgment by isolating causes. Able to work well in-group problem solving situations, understand consequences of potential decisions, and support and explain reasoning for decisions.- Maintains an appropriate focus on short
- and long-term goals, outcomes, and accomplishments. Is motivated by achievement/results and persists until the goal is reached.
