**Subway Team Member**

Subway Team Members greet and serve customers, prepare products, maintain food safety standards, and handles or processes light paperwork. _**Exceptional customer service**_is a major component of this position.
- Exhibit a cheerful and helpful manner while greeting guests and preparing their orders.
- Be highly motivated, and be able to work to a high standard as an individual and as part of a Team.
- Be reliable and flexible, as hours of work can vary across all day parts and weekends.
- Demonstrate a complete understanding of the Subway menu items and explain them to guests accurately.
- Uses Point of Sale system/cash register to record the order and compute the amount of the transaction. Collect payment from guest and give correct change.
- Perform Cash-In Procedure, accounting for all forms of money, bread, etc., during the shift.
- Prepare food neatly, according to formula, and in a timely manner.
- Check products in sandwich unit area and restock items to ensure a sufficient supply throughout the shift.
- Understand and adhere to proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards during food preparation, service and clean up.
- Clean and maintain all areas of the restaurant to promote a clean image.
- Understand and adhere to all quality standards, formulas and procedures.
- Maintain a professional appearance and grooming standards.
- Perform light paperwork duties as assigned.
