Julia's House, the Dorset and Wiltshire children's hospice are looking for volunteer receptionists to join our current team at our head office in Wimborne.

The role as a volunteer receptionist is extremely varied providing the opportunity to work with all departments of the charity. Tasks can include:

- Answering inbound calls, assisting or transferring calls or taking messages for the team.
- Supporting with incoming and outgoing post. Organising and distributing mail, as well as supporting the wider charity with franking external mailing.
- Inputting data onto database.
- Any other administration duties as needed.

Morning and afternoon shifts are available on Tuesday, Wednesday and on a ad-hoc basis to help cover for holidays. Shifts are usually 9am - 1pm and 12.30 - 4.30pm, however we are flexible should you wish to support for a full day.

Volunteers will receive a full induction to Julia’s House, the work it does and role specific training. Volunteers will be well supported and will have a clearly identified staff member to whom they report.

**This is a voluntary role with no salary.**
