We are looking for a Financial Assistant to support our Finance Manager in the administrative tasks required by the Finance department at Thyme. This role is office based, Monday - Friday, 9am - 5.30pm.

In this role you will be working alongside a highly experienced manager, with decades of international practice in Accounting and Financial Control, particularly focused on the Hospitality industry. Though the day to day focus of this role will be on administration, the preparation of data, and stock control, you will have the opportunity to quickly progress your career through regular tuition from our Finance team and frequent exposure to Management accounting practice.

**Duties & Responsibilities**

Main responsibility: Procurement, Receiving, Stores, and Income Audit.

**Responsible for the preparation of orders across all departments and receiving/stock and cellar control, issuance of goods to all departments, and Income Audit Controls**
- To prepare data and reports as instructed by the finance manager
- To assist with cash up and daily revenue reporting
- Prepare and process purchase orders for supplies and equipment and ensure all the goods and services required are processed with proper approved purchase requests or purchase orders.
- Managing supplier relations and negotiating contracts, prices, timelines, etc.
- Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.
- To prepare cost estimates as and when required.
- To receive beverages, dry stores, and general, check all goods for quality and quantity, against the invoice and purchase orders.
- To maintain adequate/par levels of beverage stock in all storerooms and to make purchase requests/Orders for regular store and beverage items so as to keep the par levels maintained and to ensure all items are available to operations
- Maintain the arrangement of stock items in the storeroom to ensure that all the items are stored as per the requirements and policies.
- Issue items based on approved requisitions and in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Monthly organize and conducts inventory process for all stores and cellar
- Prepare Daily Sales Reports and timely issue them to relevant departments
- To reconcile daily revenue, allowances/rebates, refunds, credit cards, Shopify, Stripe, Vouchers, and cash for the Daily Income Audit Pack and pass it for signature to Financial Controller.
- Ensure all refunds and allowances/rebates are approved.
- To send all concerns daily open balances, discrepancies, and short collections
