**DevOps Engineer (Azure)
Remote, UK
£60k + 20% Bonus**Job Summary**:
My client is looking for a skilled Azure Platform Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining their platform architecture to ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiencyof their systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and infrastructure teams to deliver robust and reliable platform services.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design, implement, and maintain the platform architecture, ensuring its reliability, scalability, and efficiency
- Manage and maintain the infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, and security
- Continuously monitor and optimize the platform's performance and availability
- Automate manual tasks and implement continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in platform engineering and recommend improvements to the existing architecture

**Requirements**:

- At least 3 years of experience in Platform or DevOps engineering or related roles.
- Solid experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based platforms**:Azure**:

- Strong Infrastructure as Code experience (IaC)**:Terraform**:

- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies**:Docker, Kubernetes**:

- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines**:Ideally Azure DevOps, but Jenkins or GitLab etc are fine**:

- Experience with automation tools e.g., **Ansible**:

- Experience with scripting tools**:ideally PowerShell but other accepted**:

- Strong experience of operating systems**:Linux and Windows
**Desirable**:

- Experience with monitoring skills**e.g., Prometheus, DataDog, Grafana etc**:

- Strong experience with automation tools e.g., **Ansible**:

- Experience with **.Net or ReactJS**:

- Experience with **testing tools**
