Our Offshore Construction Logistics department within RWE Renewables in Hamburg is looking for a Marine Expert to provide expert support on Anchor Handling Tugs, DP Operations, Heavy-Lift Vessels, SOVs, CTVs and any other marine operations to deliver and optimize offshore development and offshore construction activities.

**Your future plans**
- Development of Offshore Wind Farm installation logistics concepts for RWE Renewables’ future projects in a team of experts for Foundation Installation, Cable Installation, Wind turbine installation and Floating Wind Turbine Installation
- Development and Installation of mooring concepts for Floating Wind Turbines
- Support RWE Renewables activities in Offshore Development and Offshore Construction in the areas of conventional offshore wind and floating wind as a center of competence regarding vessels and marine operations. This includes CTVs, SOVs, supply vessels as well as heavy-lift vessels, jack-ups, cable laying, scour protection vessels and anchor handling tugs
- Support the procurement processes by reviewing/creating the Scope of Works, tender evaluations and negotiations.
- Execute vessel on-hire surveys and evaluate port layouts and load out proposals
- Review risk assessments, method statements and operating instructions
- Coordinate internal and external parties such as scheduling, engineering, certification, marine coordination, HSSE, authorities, vessel suppliers, marine warranty surveyor
- Technical and commercial assessment of different installation methodologies

**Your profile**
- Relevant marine background as Master Mariner or Marine Warranty Surveyor
- Deep understanding and proven operational experience of all kinds of vessel operations such as DP operations and Anchor Handling
- Deep understanding of long distance towing and DNV standards for towing operations as well as understanding of subsea mooring systems
- At least five years of experience in marine project management
- Strong team player, self-starting and highly motivated, with a flexible approach to work and willingness to travel frequently in Europe, the US and APAC
- Ability to work offshore and at heights
- Very good communication skills, structured thinking, development of methods and procedures
- Experience as a Tow Master is a plus
- Excellent English skills (written and spoken)
