Laundry Attendant

Here at Durnsford Lodge we take pride in our dedication to ensure residents live a well rounded life. We have an opening for a weekend laundry assistant. This post would suit a student or school leaver, although all are welcome to apply.

Your main duties will include:

- Washing, drying and ironing our resident's clothes
- Making sure garments are labeled and packed away correctly
- sometimes help our kitchen staff wash dishes during lunch times
- Take pride in keeping the laundry room clean and presentable

Required:

- Have an understanding of infection control procedures
- Have an understanding of COSHH

Preferred:

- One year experience in a care home environment

Hours:
This job is weekend only with the possibility of overtime during the week.

**Salary**: £9.40-£11.72 per hour
