We are looking to recruit a Purchasing Assistant into our family run business.

The duties we include, but are not limited to:

- Acquiring all required materials and services for the daily operation of the company, including purchasing of material, equipment, hire and services.
- Ensuring materials sourced are compliant with the company’s standards and following the companies’ processes
- Raising orders on Sage
- Processing invoices, on a daily basis
- Filling, and general paper work management
- Updating department documents
- Answering incoming calls and dealing with visitors
- Liaising with other departments - estimating, goods in
- Contacting suppliers to check availability of stock, prices and lead times
- Resolving issues that arise daily
- Act as liaison between sites, goods in, mechanical and manufacturing
- Holiday cover for the purchasing manager

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am till 4.30pm, Friday 8am till 3.30pm.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £22,000.00 per year
