An exciting opportunity has arisen to provide comprehensive reception and administrative support to the Multi-disciplinary staff and patients within Links Unit, Woodend Hospital

The receptionist is required to provide a warm welcome to patients and the public

You will provide effective administrative support to the Team providing efficient reception/clerical support to patients

The receptionist will also provide a service whereby they will book patients in, answer phone calls, deal with any queries, distribute mail, report any faults in the buildings communal areas.

We are looking for a motivated, friendly person who will enjoy the challenge of working in a busy environment and be a cohesive member of the team.

Ideally you will have a good general education, an excellent telephone manner with well-developed interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to work using your own initiative and prioritise workload is essential. Knowledge and experience in a medical environment and of medical terminology is desirable but not essential. Computer literacy and attention to detail are essential.
