Administrator - Care Home

We require a friendly, astute and experienced Administrator for our Care Home in Dingwall. The home has a good reputation, and enjoy excellent links with the local community.

As our Home Administrator, you will be responsible for the day to day administrative duties which ensure the efficient running of the home, and your role will be key in supporting the Manager, the staff team, and the team at Head Office to achieve a calm, homely environment, where our residents are supported and cared for

Hours are 30/week, Monday to Friday

Your role will include
- Answering incoming calls and directing all outgoing calls taking messages when necessary
- Process all outgoing mail etc. and make phone calls as requested
- Record keeping
- Maintaining the home’s residents' and staff files
- Dealing with correspondence
- Production of reports and documents
- Setting up and servicing meetings
- Setting up and maintaining systems such as for finance, staff records etc.
- Provide backup admin support to other homes within the Group as and when required
- Undertaking any other miscellaneous operational administration tasks
- Accurate cash handling for client personal funds, fees, petty cash

In order for us to consider you for this role, we require you to:

- Have experience of data entry and management of CoolCare or similar databases for residents and staff records
- Have attention to detail and accuracy in your work
- Have a pleasant and approachable personality, as you will ofen be the first person that visitors and relatives come in to contact with.
- Be able to demonstrate good communication skills, be self motivated, and enjoy working as an integral part of a dynamic team.

As you will be working with sensitive information, confidentiality is of the utmost improtance to ensure the maintenance of dignity for all our vulenerable residents

Protection of Vulnerable Groups membership (Disclosure Scotland) is essential. and we will pay for the full cost of this membership
