**About The Role**:
The role of a Manufacturing Advisor - Production is crucial for ensuring that the production process runs efficiently, meets its goals, and responds effectively to changes and challenges. This involves a combination of data analysis, coordination, and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of the production workflow and the Oracle system.
Role requirements:
- Oracle Task Management: Responsible for managing and completing various tasks within the Oracle system, these tasks includes order processing, inventory management, and other production-related activities.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and record data related to department performance, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production output, quality metrics, downtime, and more. The data collected will be used to assess the overall performance of the production process.
- Labor Requirement Determination: you will analyse the labor requirements for different aspects of the production process. This involves understanding how much labor is needed for each task or stage of production to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Resource Allocation: you will use the analysed data to allocate labor effectively, assigning the right amount of labor to each task or production stage to ensure that the operational schedule is met efficiently.
- Coordinating Resourcing Changes: Throughout a shift you will be responsible for coordinating any changes in resource allocation. This involves allocating labour based on changing production demands, unexpected events, or other factors that impact the production schedule.
- Issue Resolution: Address issues related to schedule and resource priorities, including conflicts between different tasks, resource shortages, or other challenges that could disrupt the production process.
- Collaborating: You will work with Central Planners and Site Schedulers to find solutions and maintain a smooth operation.

**About You**:
We're looking for someone who has proficiency using various systems, including Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and production planning systems (Oracle or equivalent). You will be able to problem solve under pressure and handle data accurately.
You'll also be able to work across departments, building report and maintaining positive working relationships with all colleagues. We are also looking for someone who is confident enough to seek support when needed and to address any concerns with Team Managers.
Beyond reporting issues to Team Managers, you should also possess the ability to identify potential problems before they escalate, using critical thinking you'll be able to analyse situations, evaluate data, and make informed decisions that contribute to the overall success of the production process.
You will find success in the role if you are open to learning and adapting to new tools, techniques, and processes which is important in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
