**Overview**

As part of a small team within the Finishing department the purpose of this role is ensure the cloth is finished to its highest quality and standard. This role requires an individual with a keen eye for detail, a conscientious approach to work and a real focus on quality and delivering excellence. Flexibility and a strong team working ethic are essential. Experience would be preferable but full training will be given.

**Role and Responsibilities**

This is not an exhaustive list of duties but gives an outline of the role and responsibilities of this position.

**Main Duties**

The safe use and operation of the following finishing machines:

- Wet and Dry Finishing
- Raising
- Cropping
- Press
- Working within finishing to ensure the smooth flow of fabric through the mill

**Additional Duties**

Other duties as required appropriate to the post

General duties and responsibilities may vary without changing the general character of the role

**Health & Safety**

Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the workplace

Comply with manual handing procedures

Relevant personal protective equipment as required

Maintain good standards of housekeeping

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Good levels of English and Math

Preferred Skills

Attention to detail and good manual dexterity.

Good communication and literacy skills
