**Finance Administrator**
- **Earlston**:

- **Monday - Friday 8.30am to 5pm**

As a key member of the finance team you will provide control of the Purchase Ledger function and perform a range of general accounting functions such as preparing VAT returns, control account reconciliations and ad hoc accounting reports to support the wider business.

**Specifically, some responsibilities may include**:

- Maintain the Purchase Ledger: setting up new suppliers, processing invoices.
- Preparing weekly supplier payment runs
- Reconciling supplier statements and liaising with suppliers to resolve any disputes.
- Month end Purchase Ledger close and control a/c reconciliations
- Preparing VAT returns
- Preparing and Reconciling group recharges
- Provide other general administration and support duties where required.

**About you**:
Already experienced in purchase ledger, preferably providing support within a growing business, you’ll have a solid understanding of purchase ledger fundamentals and best practice. In addition, you’ll have:

- 1-3 years’ experience of accounts administration, purchase ledger and cashbook experience preferable.
- Experience of preparing VAT returns
- Accuracy and ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Ability to organise and prioritise workload.
- Excellent communication, numeracy and literacy skills; be able to work as part of a finance team as well as on your own initiative.
- Computer literacy including Microsoft Excel skills.
