**CI Project Engineer**

Evtec Automotive are an automotive manufacturer and aftermarket supplier to some of the UK's biggest car manufacturers including Ford and Jaguar Land Rover and we are looking for CI Project Engineer to join the Engineering department.

This role is to develop continuous improvement plans/road maps for projects and areas of accountability including launch.Reporting to the Engineering Manager and working with all teams across the business.You will be responsible for identification andimplementation of projects predominantly on the manufacturing / shopfloor area to improve LEAN manufacturing methodologies / production processes in line with the business growth.

**Role Outline**

- Support the plant teams in value stream mapping, daily management, standard work, problem solving, 3P/Layout, cell design, material flow, TPM, SMED, 5S and visual management
- Produce written reports and make presentations were necessary
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems with cross functional teams
- Identify and deploy the technical skill sets, resource levels and systems to deliver projects, including the engagement of external resources as required
- Planning and training of staff for business improvements using methodologies including Lean, Six Sigma and 8D
- Facilitates performance Improvements
- Problem solve and develop appropriate and sustainable solutions
- Implements C.I in the areas of:

- Labour efficiency throughout all processes
- Ensuring Inventory levels are correct
- Ensuring Quality standards are met
- Concentration on Floor space utilisation
- Ensuring Health and Safety standards are met throughout all projects
- Drive employment of Metrics across the organisation to achieve engagement of operational teams to deliver and continuously improve performance
- Provide accurate data for management meetings
- Provide detailed analysis of loss and waste and report opportunities
- Completes and performs other tasks / duties assigned.
