Are you passionate about people? Curious about CPR? Delighted by defibrillators?

At Great Western Air Ambulance Charity we have a great opportunity for someone who loves working with people and communities - learning about them, helping them to keep safe, engaging and supporting them.
- We have secured funding for and placed over a dozen lifesaving defibrillators in our local communities in the last couple of months, but we need hundreds if not thousands more to make sure that there is always a defibrillator nearby when someone's heart is in trouble. We need to educate more people about the importance of publicly accessible defibrillators and how to use them, and encourage them to fundraise to have one in their local area. Then we need to order the right kit, arrange installation and training, make sure everyone knows where the defib is, and keep track of everything efficiently. So, we need someone who can try their hand at most things, from chatting to people in the local mosque or supporting a community group to raise some funds, to updating a database with the latest defibrillator location or preparing a report about the impact we’ve had. This is a new post, designed to help us take this project to the next level.- Don’t worry about knowing lots about defibrillators (or even how to say it), you can learn all this. What we need is someone who is excellent with people, priorities and projects, and can have a real impact on saving lives in our local communities.**Apply**:
