Tradewind recruitment are delighted to be working with a high achieving 11-18 stand-alone Academy, located in a pleasant leafy site on the Croydon/Surrey border, in their search for a talented Design Technology teacher.

The school are looking for:
A fully qualified Design Technology teacher with QTS or QTLS or an equivalent overseas qualification

An individual who is able to plan, prepare and deliver effective Design Technology lessons to high achieving students, always aiming to exceed their expectations

They enjoy lessons and work hard. They feel safe and secure". In a further short inspectionin 2018 Ofsted said that the school continues to be good.

The school hugely value staff professional development and have a fantastic NQT support programme. As part of a Teaching School Alliance the school are committed to help train new teachers to the profession.

Teachers have commented that they enjoy working at this school and socialise well. There is a positive staff room and colleagues take part in a wide range of social and sporting activities including free use of the Fitness Suite. In the wake of the 2012 London Olympics games, the school built an Olympic standard running track on their extensive grounds and are one of the few comprehensive schools in the county with such a facility. More recent improvements have seen a £1.6 millionrefurbishment of their fourteen Science laboratories. The school have an open-door policy and welcome visitors to the school.
