Reed Accountancy and Finance are pleased to be working with our long standing, impressive public sector organisation based across Cumbria. We are looking to recruit a Senior Finance Manager to oversee West Cumbria and navigate the team through this excitinggrowth period.

Reporting into the Head of Finance, you will play a key part in delivering and leading a finance function whilst providing financial, leadership and management expertise to the team.

Your key objectives within the role will be:

- A proven track record in managing finance operations to the highest standard, constantly looking to improve in systems, controls, and processes.
- Contribute to the development of Financial Strategy and policies, procedures, and business planning processes.
- Support the CFO in preparing budgets and financial forecasting
- Supporting the senior finance team with core monthly processes and tasks
- Support in management and development of ICT systems and related procedures
- Establish and maintain outstanding professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

What you will get in return:

- Salary banding from £33,829 - £39,493
- 37 hours per week
