**Deployment Lead**

By working closely with Regional Managers, and local leadership the Deployment Lead will be essential in optimising clinic availability and resource across the area. This is a full-time position and will require occasional weekend working.
**About the role**
- Work closely with the areas Leadership to determine forecasted clinics on a rolling 12-week basis as standard.
- Works closely with the Regional Manager, Regional Operations Manager, Store and Hub Managers to best deploy mobile teams.
- Plan holiday cover across the stores to maximise colleague availability and helping to control costs.
- Work with the Resourcing Team to identify scheduling requirements that cannot be resourced through employed Optometrists
- Requests Locums to fill gaps in Optometrist schedules and optimise clinic availability.
- Build relationships with stakeholders to gain a clear understanding of local Optometrist deployment & scheduling requirements.
- Manage requests for cover for urgent on the day sickness.

**What you'll need to have**
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written at all levels.
- Knowledge of Excel with a high level of PC literacy.
- Excellent organisational skills, including workload management.
- Great attention to detail.
- The ability to be flexible and to work / remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to meet deadlines, sometimes at short notice.
- Available to work shift patterns and weekends on a rota basis.
- Adaptable and able to help find solutions.
- Ability to work at pace.

**It would be great if you also have**
- Previous Planning experience.
- Scheduling / Workforce Management experience.
