**Position Overview**:
As a Goods In Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in the efficient and accurate receipt, inspection, and storage of goods within our warehouse facility. You will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring that all goods received meet quality standards, and supporting the smooth operation of the warehouse.

**Schedule**:
Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm. One in three Sundays required with a day off in lieu during that week. 42.5 hours per week in total.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Receive incoming deliveries and verify their contents against purchase orders or manifests.
- Inspect goods for damages, discrepancies, or defects and report any issues to the appropriate team.
- Accurately record received goods in the inventory management system and assign appropriate storage locations.
- Organise and maintain the warehouse storage area to ensure efficient use of space and easy access to goods.
- Assist with inventory counts and periodic stocktaking activities.
- Collaborate with other warehouse staff to fulfill orders, locate items, and manage outgoing shipments.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- General warehouse duties including picking and packing orders.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record and track inventory.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items.
- Physical stamina and endurance to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities and tasks.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
