Skircoat Green Dental Practice is a well established family owned private dental practice in Halifax West Yorkshire. We are a friendly team and we love providing the best possible care for our patients.

We are well regarded for our very high standards and excellent patient care and we require a new team member with the same level of professionalism and attention to detail.

**Dental Receptionist/Front of House (Part time)**

The overall role is to manage the patient journey in a proactive way in line with our brand values and our customers’ high expectations.

Responsibilities include:

- To answer the phone and proactively manage enquiries
- To oversee patient appointments and clinical diaries to maximise opportunities
- To manage patient payments, cashing up and simple accounting/bookkeeping
- To maintain a safe and orderly immediate environment and work with the team to support the goals of the practice

Essential skills and experience

A good grasp of the Microsoft suite and quick to pick up new software (Word, Excel, Outlook, Diary Management system)

Outstanding customer service skills and telephone manner

Proactive customer liaison or sales experience ideal

Flexible approach to work with a positive attitude

Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills

Good standard of written and spoken English

Experience of working in a dental reception (essential)

Dental reception experience is essential.

Pay dependant on skills and experience.

There are 2 roles available:

- One role will be 8.30am until 2pm Monday to Friday, plus an alternate Saturday morning

One role will be 2pm until 5.30pm Monday to Friday (with 2 late nights until 8pm per week), plus an alternate Saturday morning
